Demo If you click on either of the text links down below it will display a live version of the wayfinding software as it runs at this moment in the ConCord Hospital in New Hampshire. There are 2 kiosk systems present; one is located on floor 3 in the visitors lobby(kiosk 1) and the other is located at the main entrance on ground level (kiosk 2). Hospital Kiosk 1 The kiosk with a touch screen application shows on the default screen where the visitor currently is located. Through a listing of departments/doctors the visitor can choose his destination (or type it in). The kiosk generates the map on the fly and displays it on the screen. At that moment the user can choose to print the map so that he can take it along. Especially for the Hospital application people prefer to generate the route at home, so we recommend to make a web link with the wayfinder application. Show Kioskcom Wayfinding Kiosk Virtual Head Quarters Updating data in, for example the directories, can be done through the Virtual Head Quarters. Uploads and changes will be immediatly in effect on the kiosk. The VHQ is a web application and is password protected. |
